The eBay revolution - a beginner Guide. written by Adrian Rider (2005). With E bay being one of the most searched for terms on the internet today,[ approx 24 million people last month], it is hardly suprising that more and more everyday people are turning away from the 9-5 job scene, and looking at the income opportunities that this hugely popular forum has to offer.


So just what are the benefits of starting your own E bay business, as opposed to the more traditional self employment options, such as buying a business, or becoming a franchisee?

Well the first and most obvious benefit is the financial one, you can start an E bay business on a shoestring, whereas buying a franchise or setting up on your own will in all probability cost you 10s of thousands of dollars.
Secondly, the element of risk is fairly negligible with an E bay business [ as long as you don’t invest hugely in stock before you have properly researched the market]

Thirdly you can start up in your spare time, without having to “give up your day job”. This allows you to test the water, and see if you actually enjoy running your own business, before you actually take the plunge.For many people Ebay is simply a profitable and fun sideline or hobby, and that’s fine, but you need to make the choice if it’s a hobby you want or a business.If you make the decision that its to be a business,then you need to keep professional records, pay tax etc.

Another beauty of running an online business is that you can do your business activities when it suits you.You can organise your auctions at 2 am if you so choose, and people will still be looking at what you have to offer!

A final benefit,[ and this list is by no means exhaustive ] is that unlike a traditional business, your marketplace is unlimited, you can sell your product anywhere in the world, you have a potential marketplace of millions upon millions of buyers

The most common question for many people is “ how do I get started ?”. The first step if you haven’t already done it, is to get on Ebay and have a look around. Ebay itself offers great informative resources and tours for the uninitiated. Have a look at some auctions in progress, see how people list and display their products, bid for something you would like [you have to join first, but Ebay makes this a very user friendly process] Have a look round your home for unwanted items, run some auctions of your own, its fun, and you’ve nothing to loose but your junk. This is a great way of dipping your toes in the auction pond.

So, after having done this you decide that you would like to get serious about building an E bay business, what should you do first? Here is a shortlist of some basic first steps.

1. Choose your product- Everything from baseball cards to luxury homes is for sale on Ebay.Research possible product choices by looking at what your competition is doing.If you have a particular area of expertise, or a passion which others share, choose your product accordingly. TIP- A great research tool is available at www.overture.com . Its called the keyword selector tool, and it enables you to check how many times a certain word or phrase has been searched for on the internet in the previous month ie rolex watch. If few people have been looking for what you want to sell, chances are it will be a non starter on Ebay.[ at the time of writing this tool can be used by anyone free of charge, though this may well change] On the other hand if your product is frequently searched for, you may be onto a winner.

2. Don’t sell poor quality products.There is nothing more disappointing than receiving a purchase only to find it is inferior quality junk. Ebay has an excellent feedback system, which it uses to rate traders.This feedback is available to both buyers and sellers, so if you get negative feedback, this can seriously jeopardise your Ebay reputation permanently

3. Start small. Unless you are utterly confident in your product, and in a very secure position financially, start things off on a small scale, and increase your spending only as your results justify this.

4. Test, Test, Test- Try different products and combinations of products to see what works best, and always use photos,as many people buy what they see not what they read.

5. Commit from the start to offering exceptional service. Treat others as you would like to be treated, and you will soon get a reputation as a trader to be trusted, and from whom you can buy with confidence.

6. Don’t always try to make a large profit. Many of the powersellers on Ebay make small but consistent profits,and run a lot of auctions! Always ensure that you cover shipping costs, and any costs incurred in running your auction.

7. Many of E bays top sellers sell other peoples products which they neither stock or in most cases even see, through a process called ‘dropshipping’. A dropshipper is a wholesaler, who also takes care of all the product shipping details on your behalf.There are many dropship companies who tailor their services around the Ebay auction scene, and who can provide you with quality products, at very competitive prices shipped directly to your buyers [ if you plan to be in Ebay for the long haul, it is well worth giving this option serious consideration, as you really need to have a steady reliable source of cheap quality products.

PTC TENDOLLARCLICK IS A SCAM??..

Program Paid to click tidak bisa dipungkiri masih dilirik oleh banyak rekan dan netter di dunia maya, tapi dari sekian banyak program PTC yang ditawarkan kita harus berhati-hati dalam program ini. Diketahui banyak program PTC yang merupakan program affiliasi gadungan, artinya program tersebut hanya sekedar SCAM untuk tujuan mengejar traffic saja atau tujuan tersembunyi lannya.
Salah satu tulisan pernah penulis baca di forum luar sana bahwa 'PTC Tendollarclick is a Scam?.. mari kita simak sedikit tentang PTC yang satu ini.

Program Paid to click (PTC) adalah  program affiliasi dimana kita akan dibayar bila meng-klik iklan yang disediakan oleh publisher pada PTC yang bersangkutan. Istilahnya adalah klik iklan mandiri. Selain PTC Scam banyak juga PTC legal dan valid karena terbukti membayar.

Salah satu PTC yang paling menarik yang pernah penulis ikuti juga adalah Tendollarclick. Namun ada sedikit kejanggalan pada PTC ini dan jujur penulis sedikit ragu dan kurang yakin dengan PTC yang paling menggoda ini, betapa tidak hanya dengan 1 kali klik kita dibayar 1$ (dollar bro!!), dengan mudah dollar kita dapatkan walaupun Cash out-nya harus menunggu 10.000$ dulu.


Beberapa forum lokal dan luar menyatakam bahwa PTC Tendollarclick is a Scam. Setelah searching by googling ternyata penulis menemukan banyak pernyataan bahwa banyak membernya yang sampai saat ini belum dibayar Paid out-nya (PO) padahal batas Cash outnya sudah terlewati. 

Salah satu komentar pedas yang penulis temukan :

"Beware!! Tendollarclick is a Scam
TenDollarClick.com is a scam. The owner Mr. Pratt has several of these sites on-line, grandptc, fineptc and others. PayPal has closed their account for tendollarclick. If you want to take legal action contact internet fraud unit of the FBI. See http://www.ptc-investigations.blogspot.com for 4 months of discussions with some interesting references.
Personally, I have learned a valuable lesson from membership at tendollarclick. I will never, ever buy into another website before checking them out.

Berdasarkan logika dan menurut para pakar PTC lainnya bahwa PTC yang valid biasanya tidak akan memasang tarif per click yang terlalu fantastis, umumnya hanya membayar dalam kisaran yang wajar (sekitar 0,01$ atau Rp.100/klik). Selain itu adanya bukti pembayaran yang di publish oleh para membernya.

Bagi rekan-rekan yang tergabung dalam program PTC menurut penulis sih jangan ragu untuk tetap optimis dan mengikuti program ini. Masih banyak PTC-PTC yang valid dan terbukti membayar baik PTC lokal maupun luar yang membayar membernya secara teratur selama bertahun- tahun.

Satu kabar yang unik penulis dapatkan bahwa telah ada Keyboard dan mouse Bambu Made in China. Produk ini ternyata sudah dibuat massal di negeri china karena cukup banyak peminatnya.

Sebenarnya konsep  dengan bahan natural sepertinya bukan hal yang baru, Bambu dan mouse juga tidak benar-benar baru di pasar, dan saya yakin Anda telah menemukan segala macam konsep perangkat kayu online. Jiangxi Bamboo Technology Development Co. Ltd, mengatakan produk mereka telah menjadi semakin populer di tingkat nasional, setelah mereka telah berhasil mengekspor ke pasar di Eropa dan Amerika.



Produksi bambu keyboard dan mouse dimulai pada 2008, namun hingga awal 2009, mereka baru mengirim ke luar negeri. Tapi sejak toko waralaba dibuka di Shanghai dan Ningbo, Cina tidak bisa mendapatkan cukup dari peripheral yang ramah lingkungan.

Dilihat dari foto-foto, Cina tidak berhenti di hanya keyboard dan mouse bambu, mereka mengambil langkah lebih lanjut, dengan layar LCD yang terbungkus bambu.

HOW TO SELL YOUR CRAFTS ON eBay

How to Sell Your Crafts on eBay - by: James Dillehay
Artists, craftspeople and photographers are successfully selling their wares everyday on the online auction site, eBay. According to a recent analysis of eBay sales, a crafts-related item is sold every nine seconds, a scrapbook item is sold every minute, and 40 cross-stitch items sell in an hour on eBay. Sales of craft items on eBay have grown almost 60 percent in the past year, according to TheBidFloor.com. 


But, at the same time, many would be sellers are listing their pieces for sale on auctions and getting no bids, concluding that eBay just doesn't work.

Here are some tips from James Dillehay, craft artist, eBay seller and author of the new book, "Sell Your Crafts on eBay" (Warm Snow Publishers), on how to profitably sell your wares online:

1. Anyone who can type and has access to the Internet can sell on eBay. But the creative person has an advantage on eBay when she turns that creativity toward researching overlooked opportunities.

For example, during the months before Christmas, more than 3,000 Christmas items are sold every 24 hours on eBay. Research methods outlined in Sell Your Crafts on eBay showed that between February 12 and March 12 of this year, 4,107 auctions with 'Christmas ornament' in the title completed successfully at an average price of $17.34. Imagine how much more money a smart crafter can make all year long knowing how to ferret out this kind of information from eBay sales.

2. A word's spelling impacts an item's profitability. For example, the word 'handmade,' spelled as one word, was part of 2,233 auction titles with an average closing price of $16.29. However, auction titles that included 'hand made' as two words were found in 1,358 listings, but with an average auction closing price higher, at $27.81, or $11.52 more profit per item.

3. Go to eBay.com and find the search box. Type in the word or phrase that describes your art or craft item. Then scroll down the links on the left side of the page and click on the link for "completed items." Here, you'll be able to see the demand for this type of product. Do searches for your items every two to three weeks to chart buying patterns.

4. Find out how much people are willing to pay for your wares. Click on the link that says "highest price." This will give you a list of completed auctions from highest priced items to lowest priced ones. You want to know what people are willing to pay for items like yours. If you can't make and sell your product for a profit, eBay might not be your marketplace.

5. Determine how much money you'll make on your product. To determine your profitability, use the cost of your materials plus the cost of your labor plus the cost of your selling price, which should be the minimum price to recover your expenses. If it takes you eight hours to make a piece of jewelry and the highest priced similar item sells on eBay for $26, you won't make a profit.

6. Look at the elements of successful sellers of products that are similar to yours. Examine their winning auction titles. Observe how much detail they use to describe their item. See if the seller used any of eBay's special features such as gallery photos or a bold, featured listing. Evaluate the starting price, starting day of the week, and duration of winning auctions.

MEMPERKECIL UKURAN BANNER DI HALAMAN BLOG
